“Our Sequoia Sunset” Original Artwork  (Framed).

A standalone original, this piece celebrates the awe we feel when encountering these dark-amber and green giants.
I visited groves of sequoias for the first time this past April, following our move to California, and was stunned into groundedness by their immensity.
The first day we visited, we had enough time to ascend from our campground in the foothills to the high plateau, and visited Moro Rock.
The sun was setting during our return from the rock, and we passed through great stands of these trees, bathed in orange.

Drawn with permanent ink and painted with watercolor on hot press watercolor paper.

This original artwork is framed with conservation materials in a 6″x20″ wood composite frame (visible wear) with glass glazing.
Artwork dimension is ~4″x~18″, mounted with a window mat in a 6″x20″ frame.
